Tiki's Grill & Bar Celebrates Filipino Food Week Hawaii: Showcasing Vibrant Flavors ofthe Philippines Amidst Live Music and Stunning Ocean ViewsHONOLULU, HI - Tiki's Grill & Bar is thrilled to announce its participation in the 2023 FilipinoFood Week (FFW) Hawaii, set to take place from June 20 to 26. Tiki's is proudly featuring thevibrant food culture of the Philippines, an island nation sharing our Pacific heritage.With an array of staff from Filipino descent across all departments, Tiki's embraces the Filipinoculinary tradition and is excited to highlight this rich heritage during the FFW. The week-longcelebration will feature three items:Sisig: A mouthwatering sizzling pork belly dish braised and made crispy with sweet Kulaonions, ginger, soy sauce, and smoky aioli, served with garlic rice.Shrimp Sarciado: A delightful appetizer of jumbo shrimp sautéed with Kamuela tomatoes,scallions, silky island fresh egg custard & calamansi, garnished with moringa and preparedcustard style.Ube Colada: This vibrant twist on a classic tropical cocktail features the sweetness of ube(purple yam). Ube syrup is blended with piña colada elements - rich coconut cream, pineapplejuice, premium white rum, and a dusting of shredded coconut. This can also be madenon-alcoholic.Guests can indulge in these Filipino specialties while enjoying nightly live music andbreathtaking views of the ocean and beach. Complementing the unique dining experience, Tiki'soffers an array of tropical drinks served in authentic Tiki cups.Year-round, our chefs utilize many key ingredients inspired by Filipino cuisine.
